Can someone tell me what is adding up to $6,100 for my dad's funeral? So we're having a viewing and a service. Viewing is 1.5 hours and service is 30 minutes. They're embalming for the viewing, then cremating him, and they also picked up his body from the medical examiner. They don't have a breakdown of charges on the receipt.
