Why is ID so underpaid in the uk? I’ve been working in ID in london for 9 years. I’ve worked at some of the biggest studios in the world but the pay is horrible. Design directors are capped at £80k which is something you achieve after 12+ years in the industry. Senior designers are £40-65k. For all the long hours and constant stressful deadlines.
